"What is fascinating in the pictures are the backgrounds. The homes surrounding the field and the baseball bleachers. I played in all those bleachers when I lived on Gaines. There was a tunnel underneath Monroe Street that connected Ben Bridges Park and Centennial. By the time I was in high school it was closed up. Also, before I left Gaines Street, FSU was playing football in Centennial. I sometimes went to games and just walked in without a ticket, being a 10 year old, no one cared....
