| Pope Hamrick, Jr. the son of Pope and Esther Hamrick resided in Tallahassee from 1941-1961. He attended Caroline Brevard Elementary School and graduated from Leon High School in 1957 and was a member of the Leon band. He attended Mercer University, undergraduate and law school and practiced law in Daytona Beach for eighteen years. In 1988, he was elected a Volusia County Court Judge, and was reelected four terms, retiring in 2006. He presently resides in Ormond Beach, Florida. |
